Last Thursday Night

Last Thursday Night

Such a fun evening and event made more fun thanks to our friends and supporters.  We ate, drank, visited and raised funds for the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation......

Mariah Bencik chose to make an Indian-themed printed dress the focus of her table and paired it with Matouk's iconic green leopard linen.

Pam Dongieux's table featured her own blue and silver-rimmed china, crystal and silver which went perfectly with Schumacher's blue floral linen table skirt and napkins.  We adored her mix of hydrangeas and artichokes!

Virginia Miller keeps bees and she took them as her source of inspiration for her table:

We love the way she mixed the Matouk Mirasol napkins with her antique china and silver.  We also are crazy for her hand-rolled beeswax candles which complemented her floral arrangements of lilies and roses.  She added silk and glass bees in the arrangements and on her plates for a touch of whimsy and even calligraphed the place cards with names of female family members. Too gorgeous!

The Sotre team chose the Schumacher lemon tree patterned table cloth and Matouk's navy scalloped dinner napkins.  We loved putting together the sunny yellow arrangements and pairing them with lemons and limes.  We also had fun making arrangements using grapefruit as a base - the acidity helped to keep the flowers alive through the weekend.

We added the doberge cake because.....who doesn't love a little doberge?

Southern Hospitality Catering used Bella Cucina salts and condiments and really got creative with their fabulous charcuterie:

I loved the tomatoes smothered in artichoke lemon pesto - truly delicious!

Such a fun evening and a good time was had by all:

Until next time......
